
This weekend has some great Elite 8 basketball games.
College Basketball: This weekend was full of great games in college basketball. It was the Elite 8 in action and only 4 teams would survive. On Saturday, UCONN defeated Missouri with the help of Kendra Walker, by the score of 82-75. Then, Villanova defeated Pittsburgh in a crazy game then ended in favor of the Wildcats, 78-76. Sunday’s first game was wild, as Michigan State defeated the overall No. 1 seed Louisville 64-52. Finally, Oklahoma’s Blake Griffin was not enough for the Tar Heels, as North Carolina defeated Oklahoma 72-60. The Final Four match-up is set and will definitely be great to see.
NBA: Lebron James is just continuing his successful year individually as well as with his team. Yesterday, the Cavs won their 12th straight game as they defeated the Dallas Mavericks 102-74. Cleveland is now 60-13 for the season. In other games this weekend: Bulls 112-Indiana 106, Detroit 98-Washington 96, Charlotte 96 – New York 85, Miami 102-Milwaukee 85, and Houston 110- LA Clippers 93. Also, Gilbert Arenas made his season debut on Saturday after suffering from an injury.
