
Shooting attacks broke out in India on Wednesday November 26 in two luxury Hotels with regular foreign visitors and a Jewish Community Center which left about 121 people dead and 370 injured after almost 36 hours of shooting in the Indian commercial district. The terrorist are still holding residents and visitors of the two hotels, the Taj Mahal Palace and the Oberoi Trident complex and the Jewish Community Center hostage. Indian police commando’s who were deployed are trying to reduce the number of casualties and have been able to free over 200 hostages being held by the terrorists in the Oberoi Trident Complex. The commandos were seen on top on the hotel buildings and engaging in combats through the windows of nearby buildings in an attempt to save the hostages and are in the final stages of the rescue as the Oberoi trident has been cleared with final plans being made to rescue remaining hostages being held by about two terrorist in the Taj and several others at the Jewish Center. The terrorists are believed to have come from sea and had planned the attacks over several months as they had established control rooms in both hotels to execute their plan. It is still unclear which terror group is responsible for the attacks but a group name Deccan Mujahedeen have declared responsibility. It is also reported that three U.S citizens were among the injured, a British, Japanese, Italian, and two Australian citizens reported dead and a total of 22 foreigners being injured as of Thursday as a result of this unfortunate situation.
