NFL superstar, Mike Vick gets sentenced to 2 years (23 months) for his roll in financing a dogfighting ring and aiding the killing of approximately 8 pit bulls that fought and lost or didn’t fight aggressive enough.
Vick apologized to his family and friends as well as his former Atlanta Falcon teammates before his sentencing and turned himself in on November 19 to start serving his inevitable prison term early. Mike is currently held in the state jail in Warsaw Virgina.
The real question is will Vick be able to come back and re enter the NFL. There is no doubt that his talent is great, but by being in jail will his conditioning be the same and will he be able to start among the top quarterbacks in the NFL??
