Even though The Blueprint 3 was leaked all over the web about 2 weeks it released and the album was on sale at retailers before the official release date, Jay-Z still managed to come out with another No. 1 album. The Blueprint 3 sold about 476,000 copies in its opening week, making this album Jay-Z’s 11th No. 1 album during his music career. The Beatles hold the record with 19 No. 1 albums. 476,000 copies of the album might sound like a little bit, but during these economic times, not a lot of music artists can do those numbers in one week, so congrats go to Jay-Z.
