A lot of people were skeptical about Beyonce’s change of stage name and how it would effect her style on the new album and possibly sales. Well, this week was her second week at the number 2 spot on the billboard charts. Her album released November 18, 2008 and has been doing phenomenal. This week alone we racked up an additional 77,000 album sales, tallying the current total sales amount to approximately 1.5 million. Despite harsh economic time and a significant decrease in record sales, Beyonce is doing fairly well and is expected to continue having success with her current album.
