Vanessa and Angela Simmons, daughters of Hip Hop pioneer Reverend “Run,” from the group Run DMC, brought their sweet, new sneaker line– Pastry– to our Sneaker Villa store at 1018 Market St.
The ladies created Pastry sneakers, because they felt there was a void in the world for great looking sneakers for ladies. They are huge sneaker fans but found it difficult to identify sneakers that fit their personality and fashion sense. The first line of Pastry sneakers are inspired by cakes– Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Shortcake, Sprinkles, and Red Velvet.
This was an ubelievable event. These ladies have a lot of fans– fans lined up hours before the event to see them and brought some great events. The line was so long that other businesses complained that fans were blocking their store entrances. It didn’t hurt that the Pastry sneakers are as HOT as the sisters– okay, may be almost as HOT! I watched the show when they came up w their idea of the pastry sneaker, and i dont see the ones that i liked on this website, sprinkles and some of the other ones that i saw in the show that they presented to their dad and uncle. and also wanted to know can i order them online without having to come into the store.

I think that these sneakers are very decent. They have alot of different sneaker patterns like adidas, air max and s.carters which to me make them decent. I love the colors and everything about them. I think some people are just HATERS. WHere is it gettin them by hating?

I remember when they first said they’d making sneaks on Run’s House. I loved the idea then and I love how they’ve turned out. Its nice to see to young black females putting their creativity to use.

My daughter got a pair black and different colors. I think it’s amazing that every pair pastrys is different, in color and in stlye ,you dont find that alot. So you know that you wont end up with the same pair or even come close to it. Good luck

I love the way Patry’s look on my feet Im a female so when I dress sporty I want a shoe that goes great with the outfit and still looks lady like…I always buy them for me and my daughter we have to dress like twins when step out I just brought us the Lavender and Pink Glam Pies I buy them depending on the style but I often see alot of little girls wearing them!
