VILLA has partnered with schools, local governments and neighborhood groups to

improve the community through volunteer service, educational initiatives, and economic investment. To date, VILLA has performed over 5,000 hours of community service and completed 100 service projects. People’s Emergency Center
People’s Emergency Center (PEC) nurtures families, strengthens neighborhoods, and drives change. People’s Emergency Center Community Development Corporation (PECCDC) was created in 1992 to revitalize the West Philadelphia community where PEC provides a wide range of social services and permanent housing opportunities to homeless families.

Mantua Community Improvement Corporation
MCIC was formed in 2003 as a vehicle to keep the streets of mantua clean and safe. Since it’s inception, it has cleaned away literally thousands of pounds of rubbish and weeds from vacant lots, and off the streets.
