VILLA TEEN CENTER

VILLA Teen Centers serve as an extension of the community hub that exists within our stores. VILLA and its partner Nike are committed to the creation of a safe, exciting place for teenagers to learn and play. VILLA Teen Centers will host a number of programs focused on college preparation, youth leadership development, and career development. Some programs include SAT preparation, Communication and Leadership, Youth Entrepreneurship, and Chess.

Teen Centers also incorporate the high energy environment that VILLA stores embody. Centers receive an “extreme makeover” equipped with new furniture for education and entertainment. Each center will be adopted by a VILLA store to provide rewards and incentives for center participants as well as volunteers for service projects throughout the year.

The first VILLA Teen Center opened in December 2008 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center in North Philadelphia.
